Wake Up with Make-Up!
Cosmetic Tattooing
Micro-pigmentation or semi-permanent makeup is what we offer to you so that you can wake up with makeup! We use the latest technology and devices which enables your semi permanent makeup to remain perfect for longer. All procedures are performed in a clinical environment, ensuring the highest level of cleanliness and safety.
At L’Or Cosmetics we can help you have again what time has taken away. Waking up with makeup can save you so much time each day, countless hours that we spend struggling to draw on eyebrows that are even or eyeliner that is half way straight! Then semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing is for you.
The tattooing does not intend to replace your preferred look altogether, it will enhance your own signature look. The best thing about the semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing is that you can apply as much additional makeup as you wish.

Eyebrow Tattooing
Tattooing is the art of implanting a pigment into skin to enhance your natural look.
The pigment is placed into the skin through a process called tattooing, where a needle or set of needles rapidly punctures the skin's surface, depositing pigment into the dermis layer, which is the middle layer of the skin. The needle, attached to a tattoo machine, repeatedly penetrates the skin, creating tiny punctures that allow the pigment to be injected into the dermis. Because the dermis is relatively stable and less prone to shedding compared to the outer epidermis, the tattoo remains visible over time. The technician controls the depth of needle penetration and the amount of pigment applied to ensure consistent colour and detail in the design.
Paramedical Tattooing
“3D” paramedical tattooing of the nipple and areola is a specialised technique used to restore the appearance of the breast after mastectomy in breast cancer patients. This process involves meticulously tattooing colours, shading, and details to recreate a realistic, three-dimensional look of the nipple and areola, helping to restore symmetry and boost self-confidence. The artist uses skilful shading and colour matching to mimic the natural texture and colour variations of a real nipple and areola, often incorporating subtle highlights and shadows to create a lifelike, three-dimensional effect. This targeted tattooing not only improves the aesthetic outcome but also provides emotional and psychological healing by helping patients feel more complete and comfortable with their body image after breast surgery. It is the illusion of protrusion. The photo in the gallery under the Paramedical subheading is tattoo.

Aftercare and Recovery of Tattoos
The aftercare is the most important aspect of retention of the pigment. If proper care isn’t taken the tattoo won’t last at all. Recovery is usually around two weeks to one month. Scabbing can occur and once this has healed, the tattoo is there to stay.
How long will the tattoo last?
It will last for a long time, but not forever. This is because most pigments have black as a base colour, and black is the first colour to fade because it is the most vulnerable to sunlight, therefore it makes sense to freshen up the colour and brighten it up again every twelve to eighteen months, which is why it’s also called semi-permanent makeup.
Will it hurt?
No, not at all. We recommend quality topical anaesthetics or local anaesthetics injected by the doctor to ensure that my patients are never uncomfortable during the procedure. During the initial first incisions you may feel a scratching type of sensation but the pain is easily controlled.
Contraindications
Occasionally you may require to have a medical procedure like an MRI performed. The pigments used in tattoos can heat up from the MRI. Tattooing is not recommended during pregnancy.
